Hey there! I’m Donald Briard, and if you’ve landed here, chances are you love classic games as much as I do. My journey into gaming started with a humble little paddle and a square bouncing dot—Pong. That was my first game, and from that moment, I was hooked.
Growing up, I spent way too many afternoons (and all my spare quarters) at the local arcade. Back then, you couldn’t save your progress, and "cheats" were something you figured out through pure luck, urban legend, or a friend’s half-baked advice—not from a glossy magazine or a YouTube walkthrough. You either got good, or you got Game Over. And we loved it.
Through the years, I dabbled in every console that came along, from 8-bit to now. But it wasn’t until I turned 30 and started working as a game tester for Ubisoft Montreal that I really reconnected with that childhood joy—the pure, pixelated fun that started it all.
I’ve always been a gamer, though I’ll be the first to admit I’m only above average at best. No speedrun world records here, just a guy who truly loves the classics. That’s why I created this site—to celebrate the golden age of arcade games, pixel-perfect memories, and the occasional joystick-induced hand cramp.
So whether you’re chasing high scores or just chasing nostalgia, I hope you enjoy the blasts from the past—pun absolutely intended.
